Austin Deasy

Question:

The maintenance and improvement of non-national roads in their areas is a matter for individual local authorities to be funded from their own resources supplemented by State grants from my Department as is the initial selection of the projects to be funded under the various non-national road grant categories.

My Department has received no application from Waterford County Council for the funding of this particular project.
