87 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he has recently received correspondence from Wicklow County Council regarding draft development plans for Kilcoole and Newtownmountkennedy, County Wicklow; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19889/01]
In January last, my Department wrote to Wicklow County Council seeking comments on the compatibility of the proposals contained in draft town development plans in respect of Kilcoole and Newtownmountkennedy with the strategic planning guidelines for the greater Dublin area and with the Wicklow county development plan. My Department is awaiting a formal response to that letter.
