103 Mr. Crawford asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the amount of money paid out to farmers from the farm building section of his Department to date in 2001; if he will give figures for the past ten years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20688/01]

A total of some £7 million has been paid in grant aid under the various onfarm investment schemes and installation aid schemes operated by my Department to date in 2001. A total of some £462.5 million has been paid in grant aid under the various onfarm investment schemes and installation aid schemes operated by my Department from 1991 to date.
