Written Answers. - Public Patients Charges.
The Deputy's question related to charges being incurred by public patients and medical card holders for certain tests such as bone density and ultrasound tests in some Dublin hospitals. The chief executive officer of the Eastern Regional Health Authority was asked to have the matter investigated and to reply directly to the Deputy. He has now been asked to have the response expedited.
