Vol. 540 No. 3

Written Answers. - Cancer Incidence.

Dan Neville

Question:

163 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Health and Children if his Department will immediately investigate the health concerns of the Cappagh Farmers Support Group following the high level of cancer rates in this small rural area. [20631/01]

The provision of hospital services and the identification of issues in relation to public health in Limerick is the statutory responsibility of the Mid-Western Health Board in the first instance. I have therefore requested the chief executive officer of the board to investigate and reply directly to the Deputy.
