Question:420 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children if he has received a Comhairle na nOspideal report on the future of the accident and emergency services; and if so, when he received the report. [20986/01]

Comhairle na nOspideal is in the process of reviewing the structure, operation and staffing of A&E services with the aim of improving the provision and quality of patient care. The findings of this review will inform future policy decisions on the provision of A&E services. I am advised that the review is at an advanced stage and I look forward to receiving the findings in the near future.
