Vol. 541 No. 2

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Michael Ring

Question:

458 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a person (details supplied) in County Mayo did not receive surgery within the agreed time frame. [21333/01]

The question of scheduling admission to hospital is a matter solely for the individual hospital and consultants involved.

I have asked the chief executive officer of the Western Health Board to investigate the position in relation to the case outlined by the Deputy and to reply directly to the Deputy.
