Written Answers. - Hospitals Building Programme.
A set of guidelines aimed at reducing the risk of infection caused by construction work has been prepared by a sub-committee of the scientific advisory committee of the National Disease Surveillance Centre. This sub-committee included representatives of the Department of Health and Children, both technical and medical. The document is at present in draft form and will shortly be issued as definitive guidelines. It may be consulted on the NDSC website at www.ndsc.ie.
