Question:617 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason the review of the role of public health doctors has not been completed; and the reason for the long delays in this regard. [22119/01]
Written Answers. - Public Health Review.
A number of scheduled meetings in relation to the public health review had to be postponed because of the foot and mouth problem earlier this year. Following submissions to the chairman from both sides, further information was requested from the official side and this was supplied. A further meeting is scheduled for later this month and this should advance completion of the review.
