884 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he has studied a submission from a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny regarding this person's experience with his Department; and if a comprehensive reply will be issued as soon as possible. [21604/01]

Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Mr. O'Donoghue):

My Department has received the correspondence in question, which relates to a number of visa applications, and a comprehensive reply will issue shortly. In so far as the applications themselves are concerned, visas were approved following appeal on the 26 July 2001.
