1042 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Education and Science when the requested tenders for the provision of an extension at Dalystown national school, Mullingar, County Westmeath will be examined; when this extension will proceed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21380/01]

Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods):

Architectural planning for the provision of an extension to Dalystown national school is under way at present. It is not possible at this point to say when construction will commence. The school authorities will be informed of developments.
