1044 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding the construction of a new school at Coralstown, Mullingar, County Westmeath; when the first blocks will be laid; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21382/01]

Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods):

Architectural planning for the provision of a new school at Coralstown is under way at present. It is not possible at this point to say when construction will commence. The school authorities will be informed of developments.
