1068 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has received a submission from the architects regarding a building project at a national school (details supplied) in County Cork; if he will further clarify the remaining procedures to be completed before he will be in a position to sanction this project; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods):

Architectural planning for the provision of an extension to the school referred to by the Deputy is under way at present. It is not possible at this point to say when construction will commence. The school authorities will be kept informed of developments.
