Vol. 541 No. 2

Written Answers. - Schools Refurbishment.

Liam Aylward

Question:

1084 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education and Science the progress to date on the renovation works required to a school (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and the progress being made regarding the provision of a gym at this school. [21735/01]

A recent submission from the design team for the renovation works at the school to which the Deputy refers is being examined by officials within my Department. It is expected that this review will be concluded shortly. In order to determine the size of the PE hall applicable in this case, it is necessary to establish the future pupil enrolment trends at the school. This process is ongoing within my Department's planning unit.

Question No. 1085 answered with Question No. 1037.
