Vol. 541 No. 2

Written Answers. - Schools Refurbishment.

Ivan Yates

Question:

1106 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Education and Science if his attention has been drawn to the urgent need for refurbishment works to be carried out at a school (details supplied) in County Wexford; the current position on such a project; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21882/01]

My Department has written to the school authorities authorising the appointment of a consultant architect to prepare a report on remedial works required at the school. Given the large volume of projects currently being dealt with, it is not possible to say when work can commence.
