352 Ms Clune asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he is in receipt of an application from Cork Corporation for a project (details supplied); if so, if he will grant funding for such a project; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23255/01]

An application for funding of £14 million – 17.776 million – for the renewal of St. Patrick's Street and Grand Parade has been received from Cork Corporation. This application is being examined in my Department, which will communicate with Cork Corporation on the matter in the near future.
