Vol. 542 No. 2

Written Answers. - Hospital Services.

Dan Neville

Question:

361 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Health and Children if his Department will immediately investigate the health concerns of the Cappagh Farmers Support Group (details supplied). [24353/01]

As I advised the Deputy, in answer to his parliamentary question on this matter in July 2001, the provision of hospital services and the identification of issues in relation to public health in Limerick is the statutory responsibility of the Mid-Western Health Board in the first instance. As with the previous parliamentary question, I have requested the chief executive officer of the board, Mr. Stiofán De Burca, to investigate and reply directly to the Deputy.
