144 Mr. Rabbitte asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the progress made in relation to the task force on policy regarding emigrants; when the task force is likely to report; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23731/01]
I expect to be able to make an announcement on the establishment of the proposed task force on policy regarding emigrants in the very near future. I expect also that the task force will be in a position to commence its work in November of this year and to report back to me within six months.
