Vol. 542 No. 3

Written Answers. - Autism Services.

Róisín Shortall

Question:

128 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Health and Children the level of funding provided to the Gheel autism services; the provision made for teachers and trainers; the precise education and training programmes provided; and his views on the adequacy of these. [24416/01]

As the provision of services to persons with an intellectual disability and those with autism in the Dublin region is the responsibility of the Eastern Regional Health Authority in the first instance, I have forwarded the Deputy's query to the chief executive officer of the authority for attention and direct reply.
