167 Ms Cooper-Flynn asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands the amount of money which has been allocated and spent to date by her Department in each of the BMW counties under the national development plan. [24632/01]

The figures do not incorporate the allocation and expenditure under the NDP of the national parks and wildlife service – NPWS – of my Department. It was not possible to break down the figures by county in the time available. However, I have instructed that the breakdown be provided and I will arrange for the material to be sent to the Deputy shortly.
Note 2
In the case of Waterways Ireland, it is not possible to allocate plant and machinery by county as this equipment is used on an inter-county basis as the work demands. The amount spent – £70,000 – is not included in the overall totals provided.
