Question:77 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Defence the level of personnel and support that are operational in the Army explosive ordnance disposal teams; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24637/01]
Written Answers. - Defence Forces Strength.
Explosive ordnance disposal teams are available on a 24 hour basis at a number of locations throughout the State. I am satisfied these teams are in a position to deal with any requests for assistance that may arise. It is not the practice to disclose details of the strength and equipment of such units of the Defence Forces.
