Question:430 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will consider locating a regional office of his Department in the Inchicore area. [24881/01]

In June of this year the Government approved a major structural reform of my Department. One of the major elements of the reform was the establishment of a framework of regional offices. Following this decision I established a task force to oversee implementation of the various elements of the structural reform. The planning and necessary consultation process is well advanced. Decisions on specific locations are not yet finalised.
