Question:185 Mr. Power asked the Minister for Defence when the swimming pool at the Curragh Camp, County Kildare, will be available to schools in the locality; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24996/01]

The position is that it is proposed to make the Curragh swimming pool available shortly for use by the schools based in the Curragh Camp and it is intended to further expand the use of the facility as soon as possible thereafter.
