211 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children the amount of expenditure on agency nurses for each of the years 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001 in each of the acute hospitals; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25533/01]

The information requested by the Deputy is not available in my Department. However, the relevant chief executive officers have been asked to collate the information and transmit it directly to the Deputy as soon as possible.
