101 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Finance the revenue which has accrued from off-course betting tax in each of the past three years. [25274/01]

The information requested by the Deputy is as follows:

£53.4 million (67.8 million)

2000

£46.36 million (58.9 million)

2001 (9 months to end Sept.)

£41.1 million (52.2 million)

The betting duty was reduced from 10% to 5% with effect from 1 July 1999.
