Vol. 543 No. 3

Written Answers. - Rebate Application.

Question:

121 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will have examinations made into a situation (details supplied); and if a rebate can be arranged. [27120/01]

Under long-stay regulations moneys left to meet a person's personal needs are a matter for the chief executive officer of the relevant health board. In this instance, I have asked my Department to write to Mr. Donal O'Shea, chief executive officer of the Eastern Regional Health Authority regarding this matter and have asked him to respond directly to you.
