94 Mr. N. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the portion of a person's land holding (details supplied) in County Cork which qualifies for eligibility under the farm retirement scheme 2002. [27193/01]
The person involved in this case received the maximum rate of pay ment under the scheme of early retirement from farming from 2 May 1996 up to 18 May 2000, when she reached 70 years of age. The pension is not payable beyond that age. She is no longer eligible under either the old or the new schemes of early retirement.
