Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Fitzgerald – the Government response to the report on a case (details supplied) handled by Mr. Justice Peter Kelly and the action that has been taken; (2) Deputy Deasy – the situation at Saint John's School for special needs in Dungarvan, County Waterford, with regard to the provision of specialised services for the children; (3) Deputy Crawford – the need to arrange immediate payment in respect of certain animals (details supplied) and to review the reactor animal compensation scheme; (4) Deputy Healy – the urgent need to properly finance and staff the housing aid for the elderly scheme; (5) Deputy Gormley – the need to provide adequate resources to those agencies charged with responsibility for devising road safety policy and implementing practical measures to enhance policy safety; (6) Deputy Deenihan – the condition of the prefab classroom at Curranes national school, Castleisland, County Kerry, and the need to have the proposed extension to the school commenced as soon as possible; (7) Deputy Gregory – the need to maintain a third assistant teacher at the Dublin 7 Educate Together national school, Henrietta Street, Dublin 1.

The matters raised by Deputies Gregory, Crawford, Fitzgerald and Deasy have been selected for discussion and will be taken now.
