Vol. 543 No. 5

Written Answers. - Coastal Protection.

P. J. Sheehan

Question:

175 Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources when funding for work to protect against coastal erosion will be provided to Cork County Council for the Warren Strand, Rosscarbery. [27926/01]

Coastal protection works at The Warren, Rosscarbery, County Cork, have been delayed pending the granting of a foreshore licence, which is now being finalised. Funding coastal protection works at The Warren, Rosscarbery, is being given priority by my Department.
