280 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will authorise the invitation of tenders for the required extension to the Salesian college, Celbridge, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28316/01]
The school authorities of the Salesian College, Celbridge, County Kildare appointed an architect to report on the condition of the school building and this report was received in my Department's post primary building unit on 10 October 2001. In order for this matter to be considered fully, the school authorities were requested to complete form SLE, application for capital funding, and this completed document was recently received in the post primary building unit. The report from the school's architect is now being considered by the technical staff of the unit.
