Question:

114 Mr. S. Ryan asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation when he last met the FAI to discuss Government proposals for Campus/Stadium Ireland; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27892/01]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 87 and 114 together.

In the past four weeks, I have not held any meetings with either the GAA, the IRFU, the FAI or any other sporting organisations to discuss the Sports Campus Ireland project. I last met with the FAI on this matter on 5 March 2001 together with the Taoiseach.

I expect to be presenting to Government the report of the independent overview of the Campus and Stadium Ireland project within the next few weeks. In the meantime I do not intend to make any statements or conduct discussions with sporting organisations on this matter.
