Vol. 544 No. 3

Written Answers. - Residency Permits.

Pat Carey

Question:

415 Mr. P. Carey asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11 will be given residency rights here; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28572/01]

The person in question has applied for permission to remain based on his parentage of an Irish citizen child born in June 2001. Applications of this nature are dealt with in chronological order and as my Department is currently dealing with applications in respect of children born in January 2001 it is likely to be several months before the application in question is finalised.

Question No. 416 withdrawn.
