164 Mr. Sargent asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment her plans to provide funding to the Consumers Association of Ireland. [28790/01]

Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Mr. T. Kitt):

A grant of £50,000 per annum to the Consumers Association of Ireland for the three years 2001-03 was announced in last year's budget.
