221 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if his attention has been drawn to the plans for a project (details supplied) in County Monaghan; if he will support the project; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [29301/01]

Minister for the Environment and Local Government (Mr. Dempsey):

I am providing funding towards the cost of this project under the 2001 local environment partnership fund. It is understood that matching funding is also being provided by Monaghan County Council, in accordance with the terms of this scheme.
