Numbers of house completions and acquisitions for County Wicklow in the years 1991 to 2000 are published in my Department's annual bulletin of housing statistics, copies of which are available in the Oireachtas Library. Details in relation to pre-1998 figures are published on a county basis only. The number of house completions and acquisitions for 2001 will be published in the annual bulletin of housing statistics in early 2002.
256.Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will extend additional funding to Dublin Corporation in order to permit it to develop a phased programme under which the 3,000 corporation homes without central heating would have heating installed. [29854/01]

Dublin Corporation has been advised on 10 April 2001 that funding for the installation of central heating in local authority houses may be provided under the remedial works scheme in respect of dwellings which qualify under that scheme or from internal capital receipts which are surplus to the requirements of the local authority housing programme. This position remains unchanged.
