323 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will outline, in relation to the relevant Departmental circulars, the number of appeals there have been against the decisions of county vocational education committees and boards of management of second level schools and the community and comprehensive sector, in relation to promotions to positions of special duties teacher and assistant principal posts nationwide; the number of appeals there have been in both categories, special duties teacher and assistant principal, in each sector; the number of these appeals which have been successful; the number of further competitions arising out of successful appeals in each sector which have been further appealed; and the number of further appeals which have been successful in both sectors.
