154 Mr. Enright asked the Minister for Education and Science the situation regarding the extension to the national school at Ballinamere, Tullamore, County Offaly; and if his attention has been drawn to the fact that this extension is urgently required. [30122/01]

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that architectural planning for the provision of a new school at Ballinamere, Tullamore, County Offaly, is progressing.

155 Ms O. Mitchell asked the Minister for Education and Science when an inspection will take place at a school (details supplied) in Dublin 16 with a view to the commencement of the building of a new extension at the school; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30139/01]

I have arranged for a senior building inspector from my Department to visit this school in Dublin 16. Every effort will be made to ensure that this inspection will take place as soon as possible. However, due to the inspector's current commitments it is not possible to indicate an exact date as to when exactly the inspection will be conducted.

Burke asked the Minister for Education and Science if the work on Carrabane national school, Athenry, County Galway has been sanctioned and plans agreed; and if accommodation will be provided for a general purpose room and resource room; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Architectural planning for a building project at Carrabane national school, Athenry, County Galway is under way at present.
