Question:109 Mr. T. Hayes asked the Minister for Finance when he will allocate funding to address the flooding problem in Clonmel, County Tipperary; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30215/01]
Written Answers. - Flood Relief.
I will launch the public exhibition stage of the Suir river, Clonmel drainage scheme on Monday, 3 December 2001 in the town hall in Clonmel and the exhibition will run from Tuesday 4 December 2001 to Friday, 11 January 2002, both dates inclusive. On completion of the public exhibition, all observations from concerned parties will be considered and responded to and alterations to the scheme, if any, arising from these observations will be examined and costed. At that point, the scheme will be considered for submission to the Minister for Finance with a request for appropriate funding.
