Vol. 545 No. 2

Written Answers. - Water and Sewerage Schemes.

Liam Aylward

Question:

126 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if contract documents for the augmentation of a group water scheme for an area (details supplied) in County Kilkenny can be included in the Water Services Investment Programme 2000-2002; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30066/01]

I refer to the reply to Parliamentary Question No. 133 of 4 October. The position is unchanged.

Seamus Healy

Question:

127 Mr. Healy asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when approval will issue for the tender documents for the Ballyclerahan waste water treatment plant, County Tipperary. [30089/01]

This scheme has been advanced by Tipperary SR County Council as a potential grouped design-build-operate contract involving a number of other towns and villages in the county. Tender documents submitted by the council are under examination in my Department and will be dealt with as quickly as possible. In the meantime a certificate of completion of planning is awaited from the council.
