236 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will be presented with the report of the expert group on the development of radiotherapy services in or around 14 December 2001; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30428/01]
As I advised the Deputy on 15 November 2001, in response to his previous parliamentary questions on this matter, the work of the expert group on the development of radiotherapy services is at an advanced stage. Because of the importance and the complexity of the work, it is not possible to give an exact date for its report but it is anticipated that its work will be completed by the end of the year or very shortly thereafter.
