Vol. 545 No. 4

Written Answers. - National Development Plan.

Billy Timmins

Question:

338 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands the projects or parts of the national development plan which have been put on hold or slowed down as a result of the downturn in the economy and the accompanying shortfall in incoming revenue; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [30694/01]

No project for which my Department is responsible under the national development plan has been put on hold, or has experienced a slowdown, as a result of recent economic developments. At this time is it too early to predict what impact, if any, current economic conditions will ultimately have on the progress of capital projects for which my Department is responsible.
