105 Mr. P. Carey asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if her attention has been drawn to the fact that the stockbrokers acting on behalf of a company (details supplied) are charging a handling charge in relation to the processing of share refunds to former shareholders of Eircom; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I am not aware of any handling charge being imposed by stockbrokers directly on the holders of Eircom stock for work that they are doing on behalf of Valentia. I assume that stockbrokers would charge Valentia for work done on its behalf. I am still making inquiries in the matter. If I come across further information that clarifies the matter I will communicate it directly to the Deputy.
