361 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Education and Science the action he will take to remedy the situation whereby Gaelscoil na Camoige, Cluan Dolcáin, is on a list compiled by the INTO, of schools lacking in basic facilities; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [31371/01]

The property management section of the Office of Public Works has been asked to report on the possibility of acquiring a site for Gaelscoil na Camoige, Cluan Dolcáin. When this report is received the matter will be considered further.

362 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has received correspondence (details supplied) from the combined board of management of St. Thomas and Scoil Áine Naofa national schools, Lucan, County Dublin emphasising the urgent need for the upgrading of the schools to proceed without delay; if so, the action he will take in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [31372/01]

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that architectural planning in respect of phase two of a project to upgrade St. Thomas and Scoil Áine Naofa national schools, Lucan, County Dublin is under way. My Department will be in contact with the school authorities on this issue as soon as possible.
