Vol. 547 No. 1

Written Answers. - Maternity Services.

Michael Bell

Question:

501 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Health and Children the numbers of babies born to mothers and parents of non-European Union nationals; and the country of origin of the parents for the past two years in the North-Eastern Health Board region. [1310/02]

The provision of services, including maternity services, in the North-Eastern Health Board rests with the North-Eastern Health Board. The information requested by the Deputy is not routinely collected by my Department. Therefore, my Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to collate the information the Deputy requires and to forward it to him directly.
