Written Answers. - Landfill Tax.
Following a formal consultation process in late 2001, my Department received nearly 40 submissions from a range of interested parties with regard to the proposed landfill levy. These are currently under consideration, and are informing the preparation of regulations to give effect to the levy, which will be introduced early in 2002.
