770 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will provide additional finance for the implementation for Castlewarren group water scheme, County Kilkenny; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2060/02]

Under the devolved rural water programme, the approval of grants for group water schemes is a matter for county councils to whom annual block grant allocations are available from my Department for this purpose.
