919 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the status of an application for naturalisation by a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1239/02]
An application for a certificate of naturalisation from the person referred to by the Deputy was received in my Department on 6 September 2000. I understand that this application is due to be submitted to me for a decision in the very near future and I will inform the applicant and the Deputy as soon as I have reached a decision in the case.
