[2870/02]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 1121, 1229 and 1403 together.

Trinity College Dublin has been given approval to implement the recommendation of the equality officer in this case. The SIPTU trade union has also requested the extension of the equality officer's recommendation to other part-time staff not listed in the equality claim. My Department has sought details from the college authorities on the numbers of staff involved, their employment status and the likely costs. The matter will be considered further on receipt of this information.
