39 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Education and Science the consideration which he has given to rescheduling those leaving certificate and junior certificate examinations which clash with Ireland's World Cup fixtures; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2752/02]

The dates and times for this year's certificate examinations have already been agreed with the education partners and published. I have asked my Department in association with the education partners to examine any possible clash with the Irish World Cup fixtures.
