Written Answers. - Public Transport.

Richard Bruton

Question:

77 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Public Enterprise the number of passengers carried by Dublin Bus at weekends, and during the working week; the number of passengers carried on aver age during a week-day, giving the number carried at each hour of the day. [3031/02]

Dublin Bus has informed me that the company carries an average of 550,000 passengers at the weekends, an average of 2.675 million passengers during the working week and an average of 535,000 passengers on a weekday. Dublin Bus informs me that the company does not have statistics for the number carried at each hour of the day.
